I just ate ice-cream about 30 minutes ago.... how long should I wait to work out!


Question: Some friends called and asked if I wanted to catch up and go to get ice cream, so I didn't think about my workout tonight and went. Well, I got a kiddie size anyway, and didn't finish it all, so it wasn't a huge amount of ice cream... but I was wondering about how long I should wait before I can do my workout? I don't want it to get in my way and stop me from working as hard as normal. I want a productive workout. It has to be done tonight too... So how long should I wait?

Just a small ice cream? A total wait of an hour ought to do.

Right now is good, as long as your belly doesn't feel overfull.

It's well known that ice cream produces the most optimal workout results 35 minutes after eating. Studies have shown that 4 cups (32 fl oz) of ice cream 35 minutes before exercise can increase your biceps by 2-3 inches in under a month. And It will also make you grow hair on your toes.

well you can eat ice cream while you work out or 10 minutes before or 3 minutes after or 17 min and 57 sec before. it doest matter just as long as you feel you wont thro up or get cramps

Ice cream doesn't do anything to you. Excercise now if you want. Good Luck

i would wait until i didnt feel full anymore, or "fat", and then go work out. working out on a full stomach can make you sick and make your workout harder than usual.

I would say 1 and a half hours more.

30 mins or just say it was a free night
