Don't carry your debit or credit card and only enough cash for a bus ride in case something happens to your car. Really. Easy access to money makes it too easy to chose to eat out or pick something up on the way.

Go to a bookstore and buy a cookbook or two. Purchase a slow cooker (Crockpot or other brand) and some good pots and pans if you don't already have them.

What's your favorite food? Pizza, chicken, eggplant? Find a few recipes that feature that food and go with it. Experiment. Invite friends over for a cooking party - everyone brings something to make and you show each other how to do it.

If it's the atmosphere of a restaurant that you like, buy yourself some nice place settings and flatware. Maybe a nice table cloth and some candles? Play some music when you eat instead of watching the TV.

Well go to cooking classes watch the Food Network! There is always something easy and fast to cook! You Mom might help if you ask her how to cook and the plus side you get to bond with her!

one thing you could do is go on a website that tells you what really happens behind the scenes in a restaurant...it can literally make you sick !

a friend of mine has worked in many restaurants over the years and the stories she tells of the nasty stuff that goes on there turns my stomach. which in turn made me eat in more and prepare my own food. at least that way i know it clean and no one has done something to it either by accident or on purpose. also consider the fact that with more illegal immigrants working in restaurants the threat of disease is greater as they do not have the same healthcare and shots in their countries that we do here. hepititis a, t.b. and other communicable diseases are on the rise because of this and the restaurants that hire them do not require they undergo a medical exam to make sure they have all their shots. either way it's cheaper and safer to prepare your own.

Carbs and soda will make you bloat. so, cut back on those.
