I think it's really great you're actually telling us what you're eating. Most people don't admit to that stuff when they say they need to lose weight. It gives us an answer - you need to eat healthier. (& I know you know that).
I suggest buying the book, WINNING BY LOSING, by Jillian Michaels. (The fitness trainer on The Biggest Loser) I'm 5'6 and 145 pounds, and I want to lose weight too. THAT BOOK IS AWESOME. It's $20, but definately worth it. It's not like a a chapter book, but it gives you ways to develop healthier habits, different workouts, and counting calories etc.

You can also go on prevention.com, fitnessmagazine.com, or ivillage.com and they give you so many weight loss tips it's unbelievable. *I LOST 11 POUNDS! :]

Make sure you have a positive attitude, believe in yourself and maybe grab a friend to help you stay motivated!

GOOD LUCK :] ... & don't skip out on breakfast.

ummm stop eating out and get off your lazy *** and take a walk...instead of on the damn computer!

its lose, not loose.

but to lose weight, exercise daily, do some sit ups
walking is very good exercise. probably the best
eat healthy, you can still eat out, but maybe not as much

start off walking a little bit, and then get longer each day
when eating out, order something more healthy.

Start a food journal. Write down everything you eat, by the end of two days, you will see that you are eating less and more healthy. You can also go to Everyday Health.com and start a complete food journal and get the calorie counts on everything you eat. I've lost over 30 pounds doing this since Sept.

I hear ya! I'm 5'3, and a 7lb weight gain makes a huge difference on us short gals...

First, no more chocolate bars. Second, no more fast food. If you have to hit a fast food joint, buy a salad. A ceasar salad with dressing is better for you than a burger.

Try and stay away from the carbs - cut out the pasta, rice and potatoes, and stock up on the broccoli. It sounds harsh, but the trick to loosing weight is to fill up on protein based foods which make you feel full longer and take more caloric energy to digest than simple carbs, which convert easily to sugar and are stored in the body as fat.

And drink tons of water. When we feel hungry, it's often just thirst.

listen im sure you are beautiful the way you are but if you want to lose weight the best way is to keep eating what you eat because that is called comfort foods just as long as you have portion control the gym was the best answer for me and i probably eat more than you hope i helped and feel happy about yourself :]

Different diets work for different people, it depends on what you like to eat. I would suggest you Google diets and read the different ones and see if you like the foods.
Change your eating habits to healthier foods, there are 1000's of recipes out there and find a daily exercise routine or gym to go to.
Good luck and you can do it!
EDIT**
The 1st website link I put up here was wrong, I found the right one and will put it up now...

it helps if u can even just do a few sit ups every day. also u can do a detox diet. sounds like ur body is probably full of toxins and all kinds of nasty stuff from junk. just Google "Lemon Detox Diet". its kinda yucky and hard but u can loose up to 20 lbs in 2 weeks. you have to make the detox and drink ONLY that when ur hungry for two weeks straight. its 8oz of water, two table spoons of organic lemon juice, two table spoons of organic maple syrip, and 1/10th of a tea spool of a spesific ground pepper. after ur done tho, ull want to eat everything in sight but u have to eat small meals throught the day so ur body can digest it slowly and burn it off faster.

okay first off your diet is HORRIBLE >:O
so to help you with that. ordering out is always a rip off. (wellll.. unless you go to mcdonalds and get something from their dollar menu.. BUT STILL ;D)
im sure you can try to get lots of lettuce and tomatoes right? they arent all that expensive. dont eat cheese/dressing with your salad though, it offsets all the good things in the veggies.
okay so from now on, you're going to buy lots of lettuce, tomatoes and fruits from the local grocery store. since most of your meals will consist of salad (btw, you can have a large breakfast, but lay low on lunch and dinner. especially dinner. anything after 7/8:00 pm goes DIRECTLY to your thighs.)
if you want meat, get turkey of fish/seafood since thats amazing for you. stop buying frozen meals, you can get pasta, eggs and bread... milk should be skim/fat free, please dont get any excess sugar...
and hmm what else?
you say you eat emotionally? well next time you're pissed off, instead of going out to buy some sugar/candy/chocolate (because we both know you wont have any at home ;D) look at the money and say, I AM TIGHT ON MONEY. I WILL NOT WASTE IT ON SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE me F-A-T. then, you turn back to your fridge and make yourself a niiice lowfat fruit parfait (yogurt = sugar and fat free)

and in the mornings, go for a 1-3 mile run. that makes you emotionally and physically feel much better. so if you eat better and exercise on a regular basis im sure you'll be fine

i might have been abit harsh ^ up there, but basically live with more discipline! love your body, cuz your health will be all you're gona have when you're 80! so take care of it

oh yes and DRINK LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER.

good luck! i hope i helped!

You've been given some great tips. Start your day with one of the great protein enriched cereals like the ones offered by Special K or Kashi. Use skim milk. Read for portion size. Try a couple boiled eggs and a small piece of citrus fruit. Make lunch a salad with grilled chicken, for example. Ask for salad dressings on the side, and use sparingly. Eat a good dinner ...maybe chicken, fish, with green vegetables. The new microwave veggies are quick, easy, and good. Cut out the white stuff....for real....sugar, rice, white bread, and all junk food. The drive through window is NOT your friend. Go easy on the red meats, and swear off the processed sandwich meats forever! You can stay on a budget much better by shopping the outer aisles of the grocery store where you will find real food. The chips, the frozen entrees, the junk are all on the middle aisles. Drink about 68 oz. of water daily. Try drinking a glass before each meal. There are many of us here who have used food almost like a drug for emotional comfort, but as soon as that momentary pleasure passes, the guilt sets in....and so goes the cycle. Try feeding yourself the way you would a beloved child, one that you treasured and wanted to nourish. Take her for walks, jump on a trampoline, dance to the music, jump rope, because she is you. :)
