Your really just going to have to experiment with foods. Try giving her egg's, just plain eggs. Toast itself is good but also try soup or potatoes or maybe juice. Something she doesn't have to chew to much. Maybe it's not the medication either, maybe she's coming down with something. MOST IMPORTANTLY, read the label and check to make sure she not having a reaction to the pills. Check with the doctor that prescribed the medicine, as well as a second opinion from a different clinic. Look on the Internet to see if other people have suffered from this and if they're have been any reports on the medication she's taking. Good luck and I hope she gets better..

Give her water. The antidepressants are in her stomach and her body is calling all available water to clean out the pills which her body sees as poison. Water will reduce the poisonous effects of the pills.

she's on the wrong meds and also needs therapy. sleeping all day long is not healthy and she needs to face her problems head on to resolve them. for the time being, give her those liquid canned supplements -- high in calores.

I sympathize with her. I tried several different anti-depressants because loss of appetite and feeling anxious was a big side affect for me. I finally decided to stick with one of them because the side affects are suppose to subside and they did after a couple of months. I drank ENSURE to help keep my resistance up. I think the sleeping is probably a side affect too. I would talk to the prescribing doctor. It depends on what she's taking and how long she's been on it. Hope this helps.
