Someone please help, im soo confused. please. :'(?!


Question: Im 15. And i just started to go to a gym with my sis, i weigh 140 pounds and i'm 5'6.

I want to lose weight, and look toner so bad! It's just so hard eating the right things because i dont know what to eat! I have school so i hardly dont eat because i never have money to buy things. I dont know what carbs are or how many calories to eat. I do carido an hour 2-3 a week. And take a yoga class a one day of the week, and walk home from school.
I always feel fat! Just this summer, i want to walk around the beach with a small bikini and look great, but i always think in my head i wont get there, and i look fat still.
Someone please help?

Well maybe you should do a little more cardio maybe at least 5 times a week. You should be getting at least 1400 cals a day. Don't eat alot of processed food like anything in a box. Eat fresh when you can. Can you take your lunch? Example: Turkey on whole wheat bread, maybe some pretzels because they are baked and low fat, and a apple. I try to stay away from things like mayo or alot of juice because they are very fattening and add up calories quickly. Eat alot of lean meats, veggies and fruits....whole grains are good like oatmeal. I do weight watchers, I needed to lose 30 pounds after having my son and I am about 7 pounds from my goal weight of 117. It's expensive though. I have a freind who gave me the info and I just follow the plan and exercise daily. Cardio 3-5 times a week plus weight lifting 2-3 times a week will tone your muscles. You need to try and eat healthy. Vegetables, fruits, low fat milk/cheese/yogurt, lean meats (chicken without skins,fish) and whole grains. A carb is one type of nutrient that comes from grains, sugars and pastas. They get a bad rap because when you eat too many of the wrong type of carbs, it converts more quickly into fat stored in your body.
Don't get so focused on what you "weigh". Focus on how you feel ie happy, physically fit, your friendships. All those pictures in the magazines have been computer altered. Besides, all the guys I know think super skinny girls look sickly and they prefer some curves!!!!!
