What is a good way to Diet?!

Question: I lost 110 pounds in 1977. I will have kept it off for 30 years this April by following a diet known as the "hi-king diet. It is a simple, easy diet to be on that does not require special foods, and can be followed easily even when traveling. It does not require a lot of sacrifice, or deprivation.

Here is the diet. 1. Divide all food categories into equal amounts. 2. Foods are categorized by the following:
a. vegetables grown above the ground b. vegetables grown below the ground c. meats d. fruit e. grasses

you can eat all of of a, b, c, and d. That you want, BUT for every portion of vegetable that grows below the ground that you eat, you must eat three portions of vegetables grown above the ground. You may eat all the fresh fruit that you want. You may eat all the boiled, broiled or baked meat that you desire as long as it is lean. You may only eat fried or sauteed meat twice a week. You must not have more than one portion of grass per day. (Grasses are wheat, flower or corn) I always eat the above the ground vegetables first. Below the ground vegetables are potatoes, carrots and turnips. Tomatoes by the way are a fruit. If I am out, and want a hamburger, fine. I usually skip the cheese. I eat a salad instead of fries. If I am a Wendy's and want a potatoe, fine, I just get a baked one instead of fries. Potatoes are full of potassium, as are oranges and bananas. If I am on a trip, I usually have a bag of fruit. If I really want something crunchy, I get vegetable chips, banana chips or apple chips. I do limit my dairy products, but am not obsessive about this. I take a good vitamin every day. The only bread I have is the occasional sandwich. Thaqt's about all. After a while, this diet becomes second nature, I never feel deprived, generally no one even notices I am dieting. In fact, I am not. I just eat a balanced diet. If I splurge for a meal or two, no big deal. What could be more simple? You don't have to count calories, carbs, there are no exchanges, cards, etc. Only one thing: When I was dieting, which I have not done since 1977, I noticed that on days when I ate apples, I did not lose as much as when I ate oranges. When I felt that I wasn't losing fast enough, I drank a glass of hot water with a little apple cider vinegar mixed in. I haven't done that since 1977 either. Now everything is just second nature. I have kept this weight off for 29 years 10 months. I hope every one reading this has equal success. Good luck and remember that being happy and healthy is much better than being unhappy, unhealthy and skinny! :-)))))

Use a diet plan that has a track record of great results and exercise. The first place to start is to use a body mass calculator and figure out where your healthy weight lies go to http://fiberdiet.info they have a free body mass calculator. Then choose a diet plan that works for your situation and exercise. I would consider circuit style exercises they are easy and you can do them at your home.

I recently tried a great program. Check it out!!!
