Healthy snacks and dinners?!

Question: Okay, so I started my diet today and so far the only thing I ate today was a salad with tuna at 11:45. Its now almost 4, and I wont be eating dinner until around 7 and im starting to get a little hungry. Should I just wait until dinner or is it okay to have a snack?

What kind of snack?

Also, whats a good, filling, HEALTHY, dinner?

Thanks.

south beach diets are actually really good, and filling.
you should deffinately try them out.\

and stop starving yourself!
i heard the best way to lose weight is to eat a filling dinner,
then DONT go back for snacks.
when you starve yourself, then fill up on tons of junk food, that makes it worse.

good luck though. :]

go to www.foodnetwork.com and go under healthy meals you wiull find great recipes.

Maybe a fruit or carrots or other vegetables?

I am also on a diet and I eat a Quaker bar it has 90 calories and I drink propel all day and it has only 25 calories.

The best filing thing for dinner is rice like the fried rice.

I fry some chicken rice up and dice up so skinless boneless chicken and some fresh vegetable all together and have a salad on the side.

An apple is a good low fat snack. If you don't mind prepared foods, Lean Cuisine and Healthy Choice are very good, especially the pizzas from Lean Cuisine. For dessert Skinny Cow has the best, it doesn't even taste like diet food, especially the ice cream cones; great!!
Good luck with your diet.

OMG you're not going to lose any weight doing this, you need to be eating 5-6 small meals a day, all throughout the day, and NO LESS than 1200 calories.
Some healthy snacks and dinners can be found here

Some good snack idea's; apple with cheese or raw nuts, veggies, fruit, raw nuts, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, sugar free jello or pudding, unsweetened apple sauce, homemade trail mix, deli meat and cheese rolls...
Hope this gave you some idea's.
Good luck to you.
