You have got to discuss this with your mom!!! You should never, ever force yourself to eat if you don't feel like it. I used to eat when my family did just because I had to, and then after I left school I developed a weight problem because in my mind I just had to eat all the time to make people happy.
Sit your mom down and explain to her that you just aren't hungry sometimes, even though its dinner time. Come to some kind of compromise- suggest perhaps that you will sit with everyone while they eat, but you will eat later. Offer to wash your own dishes. In fact, you could even try to work a deal with your mom where you say that you will do the dinner dishes (but then stick to it).

have two smaller meals. one with your family, and one later on. split up how much food you are having equally. also dont eat a heavy lunch.

Eat even if you're not hungry. I have the same problem but I eat 3 meals a day even if I'm not hungry cause it's unhealthy to skip meals even if your digestive system is slow.

Hope this helps!

There is no problem having snacks?
If you are worried about weight gain just don't eat 3 hours prior to going to bed and watch what you eat.

You can eat small ounces of a meal everyday. It could help.

Sit down and talk to your mom, tell her your concerns, maybe you can save your food and eat it later, tell her about your urge to eat more when you eat earlier. and another thing drink grapefruit juice or orange juice, to burn fat, if the two of you can't reach some kind of agreement and you will have to eat early anyway.
