Am i overweight underweight or average?!


Question: im a girl 13 5'6 and im about 104lbs. i feel like really fat in my tummy area but everyone says im like a toothpick(which is REALLY weird to be compared too!!)

Okay, listen, you're not fat at all. For 5'6", 104 lbs. isn't overweight.
If you're compared to a toothpick, you should know right off the bat that you're not fat.
Any anyway, weight is mostly muscle mass, not fat.
Muscle weighs more than fat.
And there is no specific weight for 13 yr olds, and no specific weight for girls who are 5'6".
A healthy body weight is determined by 9 things:
1. Heredity (the genes you inherit from your parents)
2. Culture (what restrictions your culture allows you to eat)
3. Family (what your parents/guardians eat)
4. Physical Activity (how much you work yourself out)
5. Food Choices (what kind of foods you eat)
6. Puberty (self-explanatory)
7. Gender (whether you're male or female)
8. Media (how the media influences your food choices)
9. Self-Esteem (how you feel about yourself)
And everybody grows at different rates, so don't feel down about yourself. It's natural. And besides, what's there to be down about? You sound perfectly fine to me.

actually the average person at the age of 13 is around 100 to 130 so you shouldnt be so worried

That sounds pretty average. If you're concerned about your tummy area, don't try to lose weight- do exercise that will help tighten up the tum muscles.
Eat healthy and don't worry too much about what other people say. You are 13- which means you are in the "growing phase" of your teenage years- your body is going through all sorts of changes. You just need to make sure you feed it right and keep fit and healthy by exercising.

5 6'? wow ok dont worry about overweight, but underweight maybe. But hey, toothpick? I've heard worse lol.

Judging by your weight and age your are perfectly normal and you are only 13.
