Will I put on weight?!


Question: I usually only have about 500-900 cals a day of healthy foods but I broke it today by having some vegetarian pizza, chocolate an chips? I'm going to do 1 hour on the treadmill and drink green tea, Can I burn all of what I just ate? If I wake up tommorow would I have put on 1 lb? :(

Well, since it was vegetarian pizza, your one hour on the treadmill certainly burned away the calories just fine.

And please keep in mind that you should not take too much notice if your scale says you are one pound heavier or one pound lighter. If you just drank some water, you will weigh a pound more than you did five minutes ago.
If you just went to the bathroom, you'll be lighter too. LOL

You didn't gain any weight, so don't worry.

It takes 3,500 calories to gain 1 pound. You must burn 3,500 calories to lose 1 pound. It takes up to two weeks for your body to turn what you ate into energy, pounds, etc. You can't burn what you just ate by working out the second after you ate it...but you can make a deficit for it. I think you're fine and just take it easy. A little chocolate and chips isn't going to turn you into a fat person. It's gonna take a whole lot more than that.
