Will you burn more calories working out before breakfast?!

Question: I heard you can burn up to 300% (figure is probably wrong) more calories by working out for 30 minutes before you eat breakfast.

I was thinking of taking 30 minutes walks in the morning and if it's best to do it before breakfast, I'd like to know that. XD

anytime is better than no time. with that said your insulin levels are low and stable before eating breakfast which becomes your fats cells' worst enemy when it comes to training on an empty system. They hate it. When i started doing cardio in the morning before breakfast i started dropping lbs. like a bad habit. I shoot for 45 mins.-1 hr. each morning. Your fat stores are tapped into and there is no sugar, which means there is no insulin, in your blood system that will supply your body with energy, hence making fat stores the main source of energy. Remember, anytime is better than no time at all and will provide huge benefits.

No it's not that you burn more calories it's just that without any food to burn in your body it has no choice to go straight for your fat.

It really doesn't matter when you work out. Has absolutely no relationship to how many calories are burned. All that matters is the intensity and length of the workout.

Geez! There is more cr*p out there about how to loose weight than dirt in a hole. Calorie control and exercise is all there is to it.

Working out in the morning with kick start your metabolism which will cause you to burn more calories throughout the day. so, yes, it is nice to take a refreshing morning stroll. lol.

goodluck. =].

You won't necessarily burn more calories per say, it is proven though that you get better results from working out in the morning before meals. This is because when you workout in the morning, your body has nothing in your stomach to burn so it taps into the fat reserves located all over your body, in turn burning off more pounds and giving you more results faster.

I think you do. I've read many articles that say that.
