When should I take protein shake?!


Question: I havn't been going to the gym that long (about 3-4 weeks) but find it hard to build muscle any further, is it ok to take protein shake after this reletively short period of going to the gym or should I make sure I've got everything I can out of the gym without protein shakes first? If it is ok for me to take a protein shake when should I take it in the day? (before / after gm etc,) or does it not matter? Any other info on protein shakes would be appreciated.

Protein is very important when training, whether you are an absolute beginner or a veteran to the gym. It is best to take a protein shake within an hour of going to the gym but most importantly you should have one after within 30 minutes after your workout. This is the time that your muscles need protein the most.
If you are not able to get enough protein from your daily meals then you could also have one before bed.

The best time to take it is just after your work out.

twice a day...........an hour before workout and after your workout.....................

one in the morning when you wake up the other after the workout!
