Exercises To Do Inside?!


Question: What are some exercises I can do inside that don't require me to buy any special equipment? Something that is a half hour or so exercise? I want something that will burn lots of calories and/or tone muscle.

Crank up the music and dance for 20 minutes, then 5-10 minutes of floor exercises (sit ups, push ups, etc. -- using good form). Five minutes of stretching and you'll be in great shape.

Dancing is a great way to burn calories and condition your cardio-vascular system.

If dancing isn't a pleasure for you, then just jogging in place will be good.

I like Turbo Jam & Hip Hop Abs DVD's. They are a lot of fun and don't feel like "exercise"

I am into weightless exercises, I'm toned, my muscular system grows seemingly daily, my muscles often ache from working out (they get torn down quite well)... try doing a websearch on weightless exercises.. no equipment needed

Denise Austin is a trainer and shes on cable I think CN8 in the morning at around 6-7. Its an awesome workout thats easy to follow and you dont need any equipment...Its 2 programs 1 is called light and fit. and the other is after it. Its a real good hour workout to lose weight and tone. Its better than some classes at the gym Bailey's and AFC. Also as you advance get the medicine ball for a separate set of sit ups. It compiles calories and fat burn to the point that all other sit ups are a waste. Oh and if you can jump rope in your house do that...Its a graet fat burn..Pretend like your a boxer while you do it...Jump do kicks and punches...thats my favorite.
