1. Yes, of course. Green tea is good for you !
2. Yes, it's very healthy, since you have meat & veggies. The bread doesn't have to be eliminated . You need grain products in your diet too !

1. Natural tea without caffeine is all just as good as water.
2. It wouldn't overly healthy but it wouldn't be too unhealthy.

The answer is : yes, and yes. (You can put a little ketchup on the burger..licopene, baby)

Green tea is a great alternative when you don't feel like drinking water! It will help boost your metabolism, is fantastic for your skin, and you may notice you feel more energized from it. The only thing you may want to watch out for is other additives in the tea. For example, if their is caffeine in it, you may notice that you are more hungry afterwards. Also, you want to be avoiding too much sugar!

As for the turkey burger... I'd recommend getting a whole grain bun, a low fat cheese, a low sugar ketchup, etc. You can eat whatever you want in moderation! Also, their are MANY low calorie, low carbohydrate, etc. options out there to make foods your really enjoy "diet" friendly!

I will say yes to both of them.

Green tea is a very good anitoxident -- nothing can substitute for water though. Everyone needs to drink about 6-8 cups of water every day. There are not substitutions for water because your body needs water for certain things, just plain old water. And the second question--- yes that is a healthy dinner --you may want to occasionally throw in some grain products and dairy products just to get the nutritions you need from them.

Hi

Good questions :-)

It's hard to answer the first question out of context, but green tea is OK, but so is fruit juice, a sugar free squash, sparkling water, or even flavoured water. The most important thing is to remain hydrated. It is true that some teas contain caffeine, but in truth if you dip the bag in and out, it's fairly low. So, basically, if you are trying to lose weight any drink that is low in energy is a good choice.

As for the 2nd part, have a think about how the turkey burger was cooked? Did you bake it or fry it. Also consider that these products often have breadcrumbs on them, and these are often "attached" to the product with various forms of fat. From a healthy diet point of view, turkey is great as it's a good source of protein and relatively low in fat. I would take the advice of some others on here, but perhaps find a turkey breast rather than burger, add some cranberries in there and stick it in a nice wholegrain roll with low fat natural yoghurt. It will have a good flavour and still be low in fat. It's Glycaemic Index would be low too, so it would make you feel full for longer. Of course you could stick some salad in there too, and maybe a piece of fruit on the side!

Happy eating ...

Green tea differs from black in that it is not allowed to ferment before it is baked. Black tea is fermented and loses all of its goodness. There are over 200 anti-carcinogens and anti-oxidants in green tea--you can put nothing better down. (It also contains dozens of bioflavenoids ) I'm not sure how to make a turkey burger with no bread but tlurkelyl, with mixed veggies and salad sounds deliccio., and would be healthy. Can I have your leftovers?
