What are the long and short effects of Exercise on our bones and joints?!

Question: There are not really short term effects, except maybe some mild pain in joints if you don't know your limits and exercise unsafely. Long term you will experience stronger bones and be less prone to injuries like back strain, etc. because the strong muscle will keep your spine aligned. If you are prone to arthritis or place too much pressure on your joints, you are likely to needing knee replacements, etc.

Running is about the worst thing you can do for your joints.

weight lifting is much better - low impact, and strengthens the joints. Lifting is also better for losing fat.
