HELP! Weight issues!?!

Question: I don't eat: bread, (except chicken nuggets) fruits, vegetables, breakfast food, (except hash browns & bacon) yogurt, granola & pizza. I would like to lose 40 pounds for the summer. Or at least by august. I want to do it the healthy way. Money is not an issue, however it would be great to save some. I don't want lipo and junk, I want the easy way. Recently I have cut out snacks in my diet (2 weeks time) and lost 10lbs! Which I find AMAZING! Now, I've been the same size, so how can I lost 40 lbs! I have a BMI of 26.1. (overweight) I'm not gonna start my self, or anything. I stoped dancing for 3 years and gained all this weight! (grr...) My problem areas are my butt, arms, thighs, and stomach. THIGHS & BUTT especially! I don't trust those Atkins diet thing. I know I want the Fluidity Ballet Bar, but my parents think I won't use it! (I'm 13) My parents will get me the "ab rocket" Which I don't think will help, cause it doesn't work on arms, thighs, and butts? DOES IT? Lemme know! Thanxx!!

My apologies for my comments to your previous question about your body (I had no idea you were only a teenager). I lost 20 lbs. in a month (when I was in my teens) by eating only two meals a day, one of which was fish & fries -- religiously. I was working on the 3rd shift at a truck stop. I'd get a shower after work, sleep through breakfast & lunch, eat one meal at home, & I'd eat a fish sandwich w/ fries at work. I didn't avoid sugars & fats consciously, nor did I exercise beyond my work activity, but still I went on to lose a total of 75 lbs. (from 245 to 170, & I'm 6' tall). That was about 35 years ago, & now the weight is harder to shed because I'm not as active as I used to be. Good luck!

40lbs by summer is not healthy. It takes time to take off weight just like it took time to put it on. Weight Watchers is what I would suggest. Go to a meeting and see if you like it.

I would cut out the chicken nuggets, if your craving chicken buy lean chicken boneless and bake it. I'm sure you know pizza is not a good idea and I would cut out bacon and hash browns also. Bacon is high in fat, and hash browns are horrible for you. Watch what granola you are eating some are high in calories and low in nutritional value. Eat chicken hardly any red meat unless it is super lean. Lots of fruits and vegetables, yogurt but only if it is fruitless (add your own fruit) and I would purchase the low-fat low sugar kinds. Cottage cheese low fat is great also. In addition try not to drink soda diet or not. I would drink propel fitness water and exercise at least 12,000 steps a day. You can buy a cheap pedometer at the store.

chicken nuggets are fine if you don't overeat them. cut down on the pizza too. if you must absolutely have it then limit yourself to one or two slices per week and add a big salad to it as well so you fill yourself up more without overeating the pizza.

dancing is great. it helped me in maintaining my weight but i haven't danced in over 5 years now and as a result, i am fat!! so incorporate your dance into your daily life and maybe try kickboxing as well to work on your thighs and butt. there are many great kickboxing dvds available online so ask your parents to buy you one!
