Having problems loosing weight....?!


Question: I run 3 miles about 4 times a week, strenght training 2xs a week and I keep gaining and it's not muscle, I cant even fit in my pants anymore I just went up a size. I eat fairly healthy I don't know what the problem is but Im getting desperatre and discouraged!

I tell my clients to eat smaller meals more times (5-6) per day. When a body is starved it will store fat. When it believes that times are good (when it's being feed good nutrition often) it will release fat.

start a food journal
you are probably taking in more cal. then you think

have a eating schedule DO NOT SKIP MEALS, your body thinks is not going to eat and will start to store fat to compensate for you not eating

keep doing what you are doing you will see a difference

don't look at the scale ....... instead take measurements and track your inches or give your self a endurance test , and track how much you progress

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK....you will see results

I would start to shy away from 3 large meals a day and get into a routine of eating 5 smaller meals throughout the day. This will help to boost your metabolism and keep it at its maximum level throughout the day. Then choose a proven diet plan and stick to it. The biggest problem that happens is motivation, once you get into a healthier eating habit it is hard to stick with it. If you are determined to drop a few pounds stick to it and soon it will become second nature to you!
