I want to lose about 20 pounds and dont want to tell my parents, what should i d!


Question: Ok, i know that is bad but i don't want to tell my parents i am going on a diet or anything, and i want to exercise more, but don't tell me to start running or jogging please, because A) it's icy B) i don't have a gym membership C) i don't have a treadmill at home.

So can anyone tell me what to do?

You should definitively get a DDR game, it's really fun and you don't even notice that you're exercising. I remember this one time, I was playing in my room. I didn't look at the clock until after three hours and I was drenched in sweat! I didn't even notice until then. Oh, and drink lots of water, it carries out toxins and helps you sweat. Don't drink Gatorade unless you're doing some hardcore sport. Best of luck!

DANCE at your house. Get that heart pumping!
Eat healthy!

Eat less and move more. You can do it! Just think about portion size and try to get more walking in.

Push ups and sit ups.

If you live with your parents, they're going to notice. You should talk to them so they can be supportive of you. Go grocery shopping with them and pick out healthy foods to have around the house.

You actually think you can lose 20 lbs w/o your parents knowing? And w/o exercising? You MUST be crazy...

go out to the club and dance with all the men

Buy a DDR video game. Mario DDR tells you how many calories you burn!

Try to have many crunches and have lots of push up
lots !! try to make it like endurance exercise lots of reps !!
This might help you and of course you can have some basic exercises for home

Get a gym membership, their only a couple bucks a month. Just tell your parents that your friends go there and you just want to play bball/vball with them. Or wait until it's less icy outside.

I had to do this too, just run or exercise. All parents go for that, there kids exercising. Also you can just eat alittle less. And if you ate dessert before this. DON'T KNOW. Just eat little bits and eat healthy. This worked for me.

pushups, sit ups, and eat right. eating right is the most important. Watch everything you eat. cut out sweets which includes, cookies, cake, candy, soda, and anything else made of sugar. dont eat stuff high in fat or cholesterol. pushups and situps will help start to burn calories and you can get a recreation center card for like 20 bucks and work out there.

I have started losing Sooo much weight by just working out in my bed room at night. There is a web sight that has some great videos and for some of them you dont even need a membership. (it's at the bottom of this advice). Plus you dont always have to go on a diet to lose weight. Just eat smaller portions. Me, I have started to only drink water and natural fruit drinks. The most important thing is to start eating right, quit the candy and eat some fruit, lol :p

Some other basic things that will help you (even more than you'd think) is sit ups, push ups, pull ups or what ever home exercise you could think of.

Why don't you want to tell your parents? Losing weight is good unless you are anorexic. It may be icy right now where you live, but losing that much weight takes time. When the weather is bad you can go to a mall and walk.

Do some of the harder housework such as scrubbing the kitchen floor, or mopping, vacuuming, etc... It really does help and you can do it everyday if you choose. Dancing in your room, while you brush your teeth, and while drying your hair. Cut out soda, even diet, and junk food. Good luck

I don't that my parents ether. If you eat with them at supper make sure it look like your not dieting. Have food on you plate and just say you not hungry or take little and stir it around on your plat. Cut out the snacks (or just make them smaller). It also helps if you eat allot of bread to replaced some of it with fruit. Smoothies are the best to have during a diet

DO workouts. Sit ups/crunches if you are doing them by yourself have your feet on a couch do them to you feel like you can't. Lunges are a killer if you do them for a while. handstand against wall.... you can look on Google for workouts and dieting.

If you have an empty room in your house, run there for like 20 minutes every day. or do sit ups and push ups which help to tone your arms, legs, and stomach areas..you can do them almost anywhere at home =) and go out whenever you get the chance, whether it's to the grocery store or to the library--get up and move around! best of luck to you =)

okay so i guess the only way is to work out in your room, like stuff like push ups sit ups. and eat 1/4 of the food u eat now and when they ask y u arent eating just say u have been snacking all day or that u arent hungary
