I realized I LOVE exercising but...?!

Question: So I just starting doing a lot of exercising at once.

Thursday:
Danced to 'Low'
25 Sit-up (legs up in the air)
50 crunches (legs elevated)
20 push-up ("female" version. just as painful)

Friday:
45 minutes Tae Bo AMP'D
25 Minutes Girls Next Door Workout

Saturday: walked 3.9 miles in 1 hour

I have Water Polo tryouts on Monday.
Right now I'm VERY sore and it hurts to move. (I've been sprawled on the bed for a bit)

What can make me feel better?

If you can go out and buy some epsom salts at your local health store or grocery store take an epsom salt bath. Epsom salts are Magnesium salts. Magnesium is an incredibly good muscle relaxant and electrolyte as well.

Besides that start drinking mineral/electrolyte drinks such as gatorade although you should be able to find better ones.

I could go on but since you're in such a bind in terms of time. I would get the epsom salts and just bathe in them, you'll be shocked how well they work. Just lay in a warm bath for about an hour and that should do it.

Lots of rest.

Ice bath first and icy hot patches or rub cream can help your muscles. A warm bath later on might help. Good luck.

Rest, water, and take a walk in the morning and have an easy stretch (AFTER you are warmed up).

Warm bath, aspirin, a lot of vitamin c, rest, and lots and lots and lots and lots of hot tea/ hot drinks.

Keep moving over the weekend. Walk a little bit, stretch gently. If you just sit around, you will be sore longer. But if you do too much, you won't make it through tryouts. Mild activity is best. You can also try hot baths, muscle rubs like icy hot, and get somebody to massage you if you are that lucky.

Drink water and have tea. Clear those lactic acids.

Especially in the morning.

For now i think some rest would help, and your probably sore because you over did it. Maybe try not doing so much in one day next time. : )

There is this powder drink mix you can buy, and you take it either before or after you work out, and it makes it so that your body doesnt get sore. Also, if you take a hot bath after working out it loosens the muscles. Hope this help.
