If you drink them in addition to your normal daily food intake they will help you to gain weight.
i.e. if you eat your normal 3-6 meals per day (depending on how many meals you prefer to eat) and then have about 2+ cans per day as an in-between meal snack they will gradually help you to gain weight healthily.
They are a much better option than eating junk food to gain weight, because all that eating junk food to gain weight does is leave you with very bad eating habits and poor nutrition as these foods are void of nutritional value.
