What Time of the Day is it best to workout??!


Question: I work out around 7 PM . ( the night time ) what works for you guys? What time do you guys workout?

i usually go right when i get up, around 10-11 in the morning

I like to do it first thing in the morning, like 7am, and get it done before I get too busy.

As early as you can! In the morning the body burns more calories then any other time!

I like to right before I go to sleep. It gets you tired, and you feel more accomplished like you worked out everything you ate rather than work out then go eat some more and feel as if you have to work that off too. Also, it forces you to have a soothing shower in the morning before you have to do what you gotta do. Just my personal opinion/experience.

depends on you daily schedule. I try to do it in the morning before school so then i can make concious and wise eating decisons all day. It helps me to control my actual hunger cravings than my just bored cravings. I find if i dont get to it in the morning then it's often hard to work out at night cuz all i want to do is unwind, therefore im more likely to skip my work out.

first thing in the morning or at lunch time, avoid right before bedtime.

People may "like" to work out at different times but for results, you should do cardio first thing in the morning after a protein shake but before breakfast. Weight lifting is better in the afternoon.

I usually like to work out at about 3 AM. Yes I am serious, 3AM. Your bodys metabalizm iz so RAGING

whatever time you can fit it into your schedule is best as long as you have energy. i get up before 6 to eat breakfast, workout at 7 to avoid getting campus parking tickets and a busy shoulder bumping gym.

I have heard that the morning like from 8-12 a.m is good,because it's the morning and since you were just sleeping your muslcues are relaxed so it's EASIER to streach and workout!

The best time to workout is the time that you actually feel like working out. =D

But yeh, everybody is pretty much right. The morning is a good time to aim for because when you work out in the day time you raise your metabolism for the rest of the day.

Also if you exercise too close to bedtime you may have trouble sleeping.


I workout pretty much when i can.. sometimes 5am, sometimes 8am, sometimes 12pm, 5pm or 11pm.. lol.
