Am I fat? *pics*?!


Question: I am 13, 5'5, and I weigh 180-something pounds.

I know I'm not thin, nor do I wish to be. I always thought I looked great for my weight, and I'm pretty muscular and athletic. I guess I'm healthy. Should I drop about 20 pounds?

hell of a lot better looking than me. You're really lucky to be at your weight than look like a half-starved "model" If you are really athletic (muscle weighs 3x more than fat) dont be worried about your health or weight. Since you're 13 and still growing, dont have any doubts about how you look

You don't look fat, nor do I think you're 180lbs. You'd be bigger than that. You're only 13 and you look fine. You're still growing, you'll get taller and your body will fill out. Just be active and eat healthy. You'll be alright.

I think your perfect! It's nice to hear soemone that is confident in their weight. You don't NEED to drop 20 pounds, but if you want to, go ahead. I think you're a good, healthy weight though!

I'd check your scale or your height, sweety. That was not the picture of a 5'5" person that weighs 180 pounds. You look terrific.

Okay, so your BMI is 30 (Which is technically considered obsese (sorry))....but from your pictures and if you say you're muscular/athletic...you are probably not obese and just a little overweight. You shouldn't try to lose pounds but try to maintain a good diet and excersize

I think youre self conscience because (at 13) you're just developing hips and a butt. But don't worry...these features are attractive. You don't look fat at all but try to have a healthy lifestyle and you'll do fine!

Sweetie, you are 13! There are far more important things you should be worrying about at your age. This is supposed to be your prime time! If you start worrying about your appearance now, you'll be in for a lifetime of stress! Enjoy being 13 years old and do NOT worry about your body right now sweetie...

Sweetie, you're not fat, you're sturdy. You look perfect. It's amazing you can weigh that much and look that thin.
The numbers don't count for you, you're one of those people that the normal numbers don't apply to. It's the Bell Curve of life, and you have to figure out where you are on the curve. Be aware you are only !3 years old and the fat can pack on over the next few years (those dang hormones!) so make it a goal to keep these pictures for comparison.
When/if you start having little bulges hanging over the sides of your jeans you need to do something about your look, not so much worry about the weight.

no way.. you dont look *fat* at all.. i think if you want to consider loosing a few pounds for your health, then okay, but dont go loosing huge amounts beacause of your looks, because you look perfectly fine. i think you look great, and stay the way you are. as long as your athletic and healthy do be it. xD
