How long will it take me to lose 7lbs? (please see details)?!


Question: I'm either running (4miles), doing a workout video (38 minutes of cardio interval training), or working out on an elyptical/treadmill (for an hour-2hrs.) every day (i'll do one of those three things each day). I eat tons of fruits and veggies as me and my family are health nuts. (but just to be safe, I'm making sure to not eat anything sugary- even on special occasions). Also, I'm started doing a special "abs of steel" video every day (10-30 minutes of ab excercises). I'm 5'6" and 127lbs and I'm a girl who is 13. At this rate, how long will it take me to lose 7lbs so that I will weigh 120lbs? thx. :)))

This sounds a bit too serious for a girl of 13. Make sure to give yourself at least 1 rest day a week ideally two split up. Fruit isn't necessarily the answer in this case, veggies are okay. The fruit will higher your insulin and i reccomend using them in your daily diet, but not always when you are trying to lose weight. Try and only have fruit just after exercise. Replace the fruit at other times with a protein source maybe boiled eggs for example.
At this rate with what you are doing though i may be a bit worried about injury so maybe tone down the intensity a little and don't exercise for more than 1 hour at a time.
Make sure you drink lots of water.
I reckon it won't take you longer than 3 weeks, with your current exercise regime if change the diet side slightly

All depends if you stress your body out too much, you will slow your metabolism. I use motivational/relaxation stuff with my daily routine and it's working much better for losing. I got them from independentachievement.com

That is a pretty reasonable goal. I can tell you how to lose it in about one day, but it is better to do it the way you are. If you are eating healthy and exercising sometimes you may weigh more because of the fact that muscle weighs more than fat. I would be more concerned at your age on you body fat content then your actual weight.
