If you are naturally skinny, the only way you can get big is by eating...a lot and lifting...heavy. Try figuring out your caloric need by using one of those internet calarie calculators. Then aim to eat 700-1000 Kcal more than you need to maintain your weight. (fruits vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, dairy, protein supplements, eggs etc) As far as lifting goes, you are on the right track with lifting heavy, focus on compound movement exercises (bench press, pull ups, squats, dead lifts, lunges, military press etc.) to gain mass, then when may or june rolls around start incorporating some isolation exercises into your routine to focus more on definition. Follow this and you should be ripped by the time its warm enough to be shirtless.

You should definitely see something by then. I don't think you will be buff, but you will start to see some muscle.

Ok weightlifting is unfortunately a long process. You will have gained a small amount of muscle, however not as much as you might expect. A friend of mine who started at 65kgs 2 years ago is now at 80kgs with 12% body fat. He is 21 however.

You will get strength,, but you will have to take protein
or eat a lot if you want to increase size (bulk),,

If you just want ripped,,,,more reps,,,,,

My ex used to drink a protein drink( don't know which one) and worked out 3 days a week. But you want to up the weight, but lower the number of reps, or else you will burn calories. But a word of caution, drastic muscle/weight again is very harsh on the body and very rarely people can keep it that way. If you forever take things easier and moderately lift weights you will grow slowly but will keep it that way much easier. And you won't have injuries later.

we are all different of course, but if you have never "really" lifted before, you will probably see results quickly. Not drastic ones and definitely not up to your goal, but noticeable.

You don't want to grow too fast or you'll end up with stretch marks.

You'll want to get started on protein supplements and I would recommend taking BCAA (branched Chain Amino Acids) to help with the recovery time and soreness.

be prepared to spend money though, all this muscle building stuff you need to take to maximize results is not cheap.
