Abs & Stomach?!


Question: What is the best way to lose the fat around my stomach so I can do cruches and tone up my stomach. I want to tone up and get of the access fat around my waste but I don't want to do sit ups or cruches and make my stomach bigger.

Any tips or advise ?

"Ab exercises" alone do not burn fat. And, in order to tone your stomach, you need to reduce your body fat. So, how do you do that?

- The first step is always what you eat. You can drastically lower your body fat just by cutting out or reducing things like sugary drinks (e.g soda), and processed foods (anything that comes out of a box basically).

-In order to lose fat, you have to build muscle by strength training. And, if you strength train the right way. You'll be getting cardio and working your abs at the same time.

Then, strengthen your abs with a variety of ab exercises, so once you lower your body fat. You'll have defined, toned abs!

Ab excercises will shrink your stomach, any increase in size is only temporary as the muscles grow underneath pushing the fat further out. But as you loose fat through good diet & cardio, it eventually shrinks to a much smaller size.
if you still arent keen on crunches etc, just loose weight in general, become toned & your stomach will still assume a nice, slender shape. Avoid deep fried, salty, sugary junk as the best thing you can do.

Okay just first.
Eat healthy. No junk food. Count your calories.
Aim for 1,500 calories each day.
SMALLER portions.
No sodas, NOT even diet- those are shown to be worse.
So stick with water, and only water.
WALK,WALK,WALK.
Run. Even better. Run like a mile each day and you will loose some weight.
Lift weights.
Muscles burn fat.

1st- If you TONE your abs, they won't grow. They'll become stronger not larger. You just can't add on weight.
2nd- If you chose to use weights, your abs will only grow temporarily. Muscle burns calories.Good Luck!
