How to do splits?!


Question: I need to learn how to do splits. I ust to be able to but now that I am out of shape I need some help. Is there a certain excerise that I can do to work my muscles so I can do splits again?

well...for middle splits try lying against a wall and lift your lgs up to the ceiling and then drop them to the side (like you were doing the splits on the ground but using gravity instead) and read a book or something. The gravity will pull your legs down lower and lower and the splits will eventually come to u with less pain and more easily. For right and left splits...just go into the splits as far as you can and lift your arms up so that nothing is keping you up. Its painful but thte gravity will push you right down. If you do it enough you will eventually be all the way down. You could also go as far as you can into the splits and then put your front leg higher(mayb on a pile of books) and then just rest in the splits. MAKE SURE U STRETCH BEFORE DOING ANY OF THIS!!!
