I just wanted to ask this question for a long time.

This is impossible. You might be able to get rid of the calories, but you'll never get rid of things like saturated fat simply by working out. There are also an abundance of other chemicals in cheap meat which your body will not simply process by working out. There are growth hormones, antibiotics and preservatives to be dealt with. Work out or not these are difficult for your liver to process.

You should buy organic minced beef and make your own burgers at home. Buy wholemeal burger buns. Make your chips in the same way as you make roast potatoes and eat a good portion of green salad too. This is more satisfying than any fast food and you won't feel guilty afterwards because it is all nutritious and healthy.

i dont think so.
cause i dont think an hour workout will work off a burger.

an hour workout wont even work off vitamin water.

Well.. see how many calories the burger has. They're supposed to post the calories somewhere in the fast food place... and I guess, if you do cardio for an hour, but really movin' it.. I suppose it's the same... but.. is it worth it? If you must eat it, eat half of it.

I dont think playing the wii to burn off a Big Mac... It has like 540 Calories.

It would take 40 mins of jogging.... Now playing the wii I would think it would take about 2 hours and 40 mins to do it.

It depends on exactly what you eat. Some food will be harder to burn off then others. What you should do is find out EXACTLY how many carbs you ate. Then moniter how many carbs you burn off until they are completly even!

Depends on how intense your work out is? Normally an hour wont do it though.

Unfortunately there are too many variables to answer that question accurately. It all depepends on exactly how many calories are in the burger along with the condiments and the type of exercise you do and how vigorously you do it. The best bet is to do a little internet research. Find out how many calories are burned by the type of exercise you plan on doing. Even with that, different people have different metabolisms and workout intensities. Wow, is all this confusion worth the burger? Instead eat a grilled chicken sandwich without the mayo.

i don't think so cause a fast food burger probably has lots of calories, but if you work out regularly you could eat it and it wouldn't matter cause you would burn it off

Depends on the mighty burger =) if that contains extra cheese with mayo floating around and a big slice of beef or whatever. that is too many calories =) good question though

But here's what I have to say:
The average burger from a fast food place is about 300-450 calories depending on where you get it from and what kind you order, not to mention disgusting chemicals, miscellaneous cow body parts, steroids, growth hormones and many other yummy findings. (A quarter pounder from McDonald's has HALF the calories you need for an ENTIRE DAY!)

Working out for an hour, at a high intensity, might burn about 300-500 calories for an average person.

Yes, you could burn off! But no, I don't think it's worth it at all.

Think about ONE HOUR, two television shows, of a high intensity work-out. All this for just ONE burger that you'll probably inhale in less than a minute.

To me, it's not worth it. Fast food makes me feel sick, tired, and guilty. I prefer to eat healthy options, feel great and energized, and not worry about running for an hour to burn off ONE stupid fat-packed burger.

Here's a MUCH better option:
1 Boca Burger (no steroids, antibiotics, cruelty, or worries)
2 slices of whole grain bread (white bread is as good for you as eating cardboard)
1 tsp. of organic ketchup (no poisionous preservatives to toxify your body)

All this for about 150 calories! And it's VERY, VERY good for you. Unlike that toxic, disgusting, CRAP called McDonald's!!!

Ok the average hamburger eg. bigmac Has around 500 calories, depending on how hard you work out i would say it would be very possible to burn it off in one hour of solid work. Make sure its fairly high level of cardio and youll be sweet!
