What is the better way to exercise?!

Question: Running, well I can see why it may not always be a blast
or:
Walking all over the place -
Is this actually good exercise? It's not nearly as challanging as running, so how far to walk to = running a mile for instance, for the same amount of good exercise

thanks!

well running burns whats in your stomach at the time while walking burns stored fat. so an equal balance of both would be better.

Running is pretty hard on your joints. Unless you have no other options, I suggest against running. Swimming and biking are both much better for your joints. Barring that, speed walking is good. You can also increase the workout by wearing leg weights.

Exercise is done to keep ur body fit. U can try stretching and can keep yourself equally fit.

walkers tend to have all sorts of knots in their legs and often are the people who are most affected by leg cramps later on in life (probably also the ones that are most prone to having spider veins as well)

walking is good for you but walkers don't tend to stretch out before or after walking like runners do, running also keeps muscle length long and flexibility high, but can develope knee problems (again, proper stretching helps to avoid this)

well running is a good one but what I do is Yoga ... its very relaxing and soothes your nerves and burns fat at the same time... Swimming and Aerobics are also good one ... you can try stretching along with running .. thats the best combination...

Walk at least an hour, non-stop, per day

The body is designed to walk. Research shows that slow, rhythmic movement exercise, such as walking, resets your body
