Anyone Hungry?!


Question: Just keeping with the 1200 to 1500 caloric lowfat and exercising rule. I have been hungry non stop for about a year now and will not blow the diet after all this time.

Is anyone else always hungry despite superior nutrition and fiber?

I totally know how you feel. In the last year or so, I have gained about 10 pounds becuase I never feel satisfied. I am always hungry. I eat, then a few minutes later, my stomach is grumbling agian. Recently, I went to the GI doctor becuase I am having tons of digestive problems and she told me to drastically cut down on the amount of carbs I eat, and I have been a bit more satisfied since I have had to up my protein, but I totally know what you are feeling like. Before I went to the doctor, I was eating suuuuupppper healthy. Like, whole grain everything, organic everything, tons of fruits and veggies, and I was always hungry. So, try cut out some carbs, and replace that with protein, and it should help a bit. :)

well that true. so do i hog when i see food . it's uncontrollable but only we can control ourselves. So have fruits when ur hungry. Have a proper meal and still u feel hungry make urself busy with something like reading , dancing or even cycling. go and try it i bet it's going to work. Report It

on a 1500 calorire diet i always fel ungry so i usally cheat and have 200 cals extra or even more but i still lost weight!

Now i don't diet as i've become a vegan a year ago mostly for animal rights. But that's helped, i stil eat junk everyday and never gain any. I workout 6 times a week though. Report It

  • Yes, I'm hungry...In fact, I'm going to go to McDonald's and get myself a Big Mac combo right now...

    I get really hungry - a lot! and get really bad sugar cravings. I make sure that I eat quite a lot of nuts during my day - brazil nuts are my fav - this really seems to help me...

    Yes, i get hungry when I shouldn't.... right now I just got hungry but i know i shouldn't eat food, so i am drinking OJ...hopefully that will curb it.
