I am in 6th grade and already 167 pounds.?????(10 points best answer)?!


Question: I am not super active but I go on walks. I am really tall and 167 pounds. I am not the healthiest eater, and I need some easy work-outs or diets (dont forget I am in 6th grade). I dont really look like I am 167 pounds but spring is coming up and I can't cover my body up with hoodies anymore. Also take in mind my school has a dress code of colared shirts,khakis ,and only spirt hoodies. I need some serious answers please!!!!!!!!!!

u shouldnt diet...diets dont work and u have 2 make a life style change and never starve urself or go below 1600 calories at ur age...just eat healthy!!!!!!

-low fat dairy(2% milk, yogurt, low fat ice cream or frozen yogurt, low fat cheese)
-lean protein/meats like chicken, turkey, egg whites)
-nuts/seeds...peanut butter is VERY healthy if u eat 2 tablespoons and stay within that limit

HEALTHY BREAKFAST IDEAS

-oatmeal and a banana
-cereal(watch sugar)...get whole grain cereals
-granola and yogurt
-english muffin and peanut butter
-toast and jelly
-an apple could go along with anything
-scrambled egg whites and low fat or non fat shredded chedder cheese
-whole grain mini bagel and fat free cream cheese
for drinks: milk, chocolate milk, 100% juice(preferably orange)

HEALTHY DINNER IDEAS


-chili
-beef stew
-pasta
-grilled chicken
-fish
-seafood
-turkey
-hamburgers or hotdogs
-potatoes
-corn
-steak
-sandwich
-soup
-quesadillas

Ughh
Just stop eating so much junk.
Have control and dont over eat.
And workout at least 4 times a week for like 2- 4 hrs

Try running everyday, and try to cut sodas and fatty foods, drink lots of water, hope I helped.

change that walk to a jog or a run, extend it to a about 2 miles a day, you can still walk part of it, but running and jog help it go faster and more healthly. Do push-ups and crunchs to help your body become even more endurance based to make the 2 miles go eaiser and smoother. It will be hard at first, so start with half a mile of running or jogging then work your way up to a bigger number. :) eating slower helps if you don't want to change what you eat, and if its truly not good.

Join track and field.

OK, think about what "I'm not the healthiest eater" means to you and start from there! What can you do to eat a little more healthy this week? Maybe stop drinking as much soda, or switch to diet; maybe order small fries, drinks, desserts instead of large? You don't want to go on a diet--you want to change your eating habits, permanently, so you won't ever have this problem when you grow up :)

Try the special k diet. I am on that I am 13 5'3 112 pounds. If you eat special k cereal,protein bar or water for breakfast&lunch everyday you should loose atleast 5 pounds in 2 weeks. And maybe instead of snacking on junk food you could eat something healthy like a granola bar, baked chips, yogurt, fruit. Also too see if your in the healthy zone, at risk to become overweight or overweight go to kidshealth.com and go to teens, then search bmi scale in the search box enter your current weight and height and it will tell you. If your tall I dont think your fat and it could be muscle, I mean not every pound in your body is fat...

If you really want to loose the weight your gonna need some serious dedication.
first off begin to count your calories.
To loose weight you must burn more calories than you eat. In one day you probably burn about 2260 calories. (http://www.theloseweightdiet.com/lose-we... To maintain your weight you must eat 2500 calories a day and burn 2500 a day. If you wanna loose weight you have to eat 2000 or less and have a calorie deficit of at least 500. To get a calorie deficit you must burn more calories than you eat in a day. For example if you eat 2000 calories a day and burned 2500 your calorie deficit is 500.
STOP EATING UNHEALTHY FOODS!
and switch all white breads, rice etc that you eat to wheat.

Begin running. Start with about 15 minutes a day. Jump roping and biking are also very good but running burns the most calories. Run everyother day. On the days your not running go for walks.
