Toned legs with an elliptical?!


Question: okay well i go on the elliptical 6 days a week for about 45-60 minutes.. then i stretch for 5 minutes after. i started like 3 weeks ago.


i drink plenty of water and i eat a lot of fruits and vegetables every day. i dont drink pop/soda.. and i barely eat candy anyways.

this will get me toned/skinnier legs and a kind of flatter stomach.. right??

i dont wanna loose like major weight, im not worried about that, i just wanna get toned up and stuff.

if i keep doing this, how long will it probably take for me to reach my goal???

Well, first I would like to say that I'm happy to hear you're not trying to lose weight. With the height and weight you listed, you definitely don't need to lose weight. I do think the elliptical will give you more tone and definition, but it's hard to say how long it will take to reach your goal (without knowing what your goal is)
Ballet is a good way to get that long lean toned look. If you're not interested in taking a dance class, maybe just start doing some of their exercises.

An elliptical will burn calories and improve your cardiovascular health, that's about it.

At your age 30 minutes on the elliptical is plenty, Try walking lunges or regular lunges, as well as calf raises to tone your legs.

just be patient and think about something else instead of how much time you need to exercise or how long it takes you to do something

idk what i just said...OMG I JUST ZONED OUT AGAIN..crap its been happening all day!

okay well just concentrate on working your hardest and not how much longer you have to go to be more fit....

you'll probably be good by summer time ... for that special someone ;]
