Not likely. If you do, it may be water retention because you are not sweating as often as you usually do... and there is no harm in that. An active person with a strong metabolism will be fine. If you are restless, try swimming (if your doctor approves) or doing pullups or other kinds of arm workouts just to stay active and work up a sweat.

Missing aerobic activity for a short time will not hurt. Keep eating well. When you go back to running, don't push it and be sure to stretch and warm up to avoid injuring yourself further.

No not as long as you dont eat fatty foods

No, you will just have to eat a balanced meal but not too much.
Hope you get better soon =)

no

Maybe a little depending on how you eat. But don't sweat it. I think you will be fine.

no as long as you stick to your diet and don't eat more than you usually eat.

pelase answer my questions

yes

you shouldn't really gain any weight by taking a week off..especially is you don't change your diet... it will take that long for your body to figure out 'hey theres been a change in routine'... you can still lift weights and do an upper body workout if your still worried... but even if you gain, which is doubtful..it won't be any big amount and it'll fall off quickly.

I don't think so. The trick is to burn more calories than you take in. So even if you can't run, you could burn calories by doing some light weights or arm exercises. That, along with your strict diet, should help you keep weight off.

Good luck!

as long as you dont eat everything in sight, you should just maintain your weight for the week.

I would say probably not.. you're injured so give yourself a break and try not to obsess about it. You'll get back into it when you're physically ready! I doubt you'll be much behind at all, if any..

YES, one time I gained over 100 pounds in one week, because I stopped working out.

As long as you are healthy, and fit, and you do not eat a lot of fat and calories, then NO. You sound fit, so your metabolism will work like a treat and keep that weight away. As long as you do not make it a habit ( taking breaks off for months on end) Then you should be fine.

Oh, and DickMan D is talking absolute ****. That cannot happen to anyone. Hes just trying to mess with your head. Hes an idiot.

Probably not, make sure you keep a good deit and your injury will possibly interfere but not much maybe not at alll with your weight. For instance i broke my left arm, and now its shorter than the other one! (dont worry you cant even tell lol)

The same thing has happened to me this week. I've just been doing walking for thirty mins. I haven't gained but I've been sticking to my diet. You should be fine as long as you don't over eat.

yes

if you eat junk food for the whole week you may may gain pounds

No, just stick to your Diet.
Hope you get better soon, when you get back to running
go slow at first--you don't want to re-injure your knee.
