Foods to help me gain weight?!


Question: i need to gain weight fast for a fight in VACFL "virginia cage fighting league" how can i gain weight fast i have heard that eating alot of bananas and drinking alot of chocolate milk can get it up there and i have also heard of oatmeal with every meal or inplace of every meal will do the trick

my QUESTION is will they banana's and chocolate milk and oatmeal do the trick and is there any other foods i can get that will pack on the pounds fast??

I am a very avid cyclist i am 21, 5-10 and only 128 lbs. I have tried so hard to gain weight. the best thing to do is increase you calorie intake. lots of pasta bith lots of butter. big steaks, baked potato's, whole milk, even some protein shakes or weight gain shakes. The biggest part is physical though. try to minimize your cardio exercise and focus an anaerobic exercise such as weight lifting.

Ensure proteinshakes esp. the weight gain formula.
and also eggs.

Eat food rich in Carbohydrates and Proteins. And yeah, chocolate will gain you a lot of weight. I'm not sure with the banana and oatmeal though. However, I know that my mom is eating banana and oatmeal every breakfast to lose weight so I'm guessing it helps you lose weight not gain weight..

butter haha. when people go to the arctic they often eat raw butter to gain weight and keep them warm....or u could try the mcdonalds diet like the guy from supersize me, i think he gain 15 pounds in like 12 days

som ppl hv a high matabolism rate....thing are burnd fast...no matter hw mch thy eat..thy dnt gain weight..eat as much as fatty foods like: egg,meat,milkshakes,full cream dairy products,fried stuffs,potatoes,banas,chocolate....

bt hey dnt keep tis as ur routine(continue for long)..it may lead to cholesterol...

well yeah you dont want to start eating fried bad for you stuff just eat lots of bread meat. not lots of fried stuff that will cause your health to go bad and you will start feeling more tired.

there are some bars and food im sure at GMC or somethign that you can get.
