Post Gal bladder removal diet?!

Question: My boss had his gal bladder removed a few years ago. He still has stomach trouble, like a lot of acid. He takes some meds, I don't know what they are but he eats a horrible fast-food, high calorie, high sugar, high fat diet. Of course those things are not good for your heart or your overall health but he says none of that plays a role in his current stomach complaints. I cannot for the life of me believe ANYONE can eat like that, especially over the age of 40, and NOT have stomach problems especially once you've had your gal bladder removed. Thoughts?

I am not a healthy eater, had my gallbladder out, and have GERD, but not due to my gallbladder either. Mine is because of a ventilator paralyzing my vocal cord when I had the surgery. I am only 24.
