Depending on what games you play. Wii boxing will definitely give you a good workout, so YES you'll get weight loss from it. As for height loss, NO i don't see how that's possible in any way, except for the fact that you might be in your 70s and you're starting to shrink.
In theory...any excercise is helpful.

I own a nintendo wii, and my weight has not changed at all. (sorry to get you down!) If you are interested in losing wieght, i would suggest putting up the video games, and getting active! just go to your local fitness center. good luck with your wieght loss.
If you burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight. It is that simple.
