OMG don't listen to those people telling you not to eat! That's anorexia and it's a mental disease.

I know there's a lot of pressure to be skinny, but it's so retarted. When I started college, I weighed 140 lbs and was a size 12. Instead of starving myself, I ran 1 mile/day 3 days a week, drank LOTS of water-- I'm not even kidding, drink water until you're full. It's so good for your skin and helps you flush out all the bad stuff in your diet. Lay off sodas (even diet), cut back on sodium, saturated fat, trans fat...

In general, try eating grilled chicken, steamed vegetables, and fruit instead of cookies and ice cream. Try to be healthy, not skinny. Besides, people who lose weight as quickly as you're trying to tend to gain it back even faster.

I said I was 140 and size 12, now I'm 125 and barely a size 8.

Living healthy involves caring enough about yourself to do so. Trying to be skinny involves hating yourself. Make sense?

eat good foods, and walk 5 miles a day on the treadmil, and you should accomplish your goal

A good way for you would be to do excercises or jogging. Stop eating junk and start eating lots of vegetables and fruits. Very important is to drink as much as you can, since this will make your stomach feel busy. Of course it needs to be water, and not coke or anything like that.
There is a research site about loosing weight I know of. There are many different ways explained to reach your goal of loosing weight. Hope this helps you and answers some of your questions.
