The normal guy can probably go for about 1.5 - 2 hours. This number can be increased significantly by a couple factors, such as a high carbohydrate diet (which gives you energy) and getting alot of sleep so your body won't get as tired. Drinking water or another sports drink may also reduce fatigue. Avoiding high fat/oil foods would help as well because they can cause fatigue
hope i helped and
good luck!

just depends how much Jim likes it!!!!!!!!!!!

a man should b in the gym for at an hour to an hour and 30 min. its better for the body my health teacher, coaches, physical therapist (i tore my acl), etc. all told me this. in college, my professor in nutrition and the nutrition lab told me this too.

Its really what you are doing in the GYM? If you are working out hard one station to the next 4-5 days a week you can usually expect to be there for 45-60 minutes, but if you are transitioning slowly between stations and socializing just being there to be there look for about 90-100 minutes otherwise you are probably wasting time and aren't feeding your body what it needs to build more muscle.
Ask the Trainer in your gym for more advice to maximize your workout.

1-1.5 hours weighttraining and 1 hour cardio and 30 min doing resting well 3 hours to be exact for 4-5 days/week.

Well one of my buddy who is a pro-bodybuilder spends about 6 hours in gym,2-3 hours posing and 3 hours training.
