what kind of crunches are you doing?
you need to work all areas of your abs and DO MORE of them. i used to do 500 to 600 a day when i was extremely obsessed with my weight. you know youve done a good amount when you wake up the next morning and your abs hurt when you sneeze or laugh. when that happens, rest for a day and work them again the next day. if you cant get them that sore, just do them daily and slowly increase the number or the exercise by trying gym machines or doing videos like Hip Hop Abs.
eating healthy is a must. aka, fruits and vegetables, low fat beef, chicken, fish, take a daily vitamin. that should be obvious. drink milk after you work out, too. it helps build muscle.
read up on the different muscles in your abs and back and specific exercises to work them. buy videos and do online research.
if you have stomach flab, you will never see your abs. you could just need to lose weight. go for a daily run or make a point to hike every weekend and cut back on junk food.
swimming is amazing for your abs, too. im thinking you just need to increase the intensity of your workouts and--if you think stomach fat could be covering your 6pack--try to lose a little bit of weight.
good luck! <3 Kixie

i heard cardio and just eat healthy

less simple carbohydrates, other than fruits/berries, (avoid mostly anything with white flour), plenty of whole grains/wheat, lean protein (skinless white meat chicken/turkey, fish, very lean beef, egg whites), lots of vegetables and not so too much "bad" fats. Limit yourself on oils/butters try to use non-stick cooking spray when using a pan to cook. And Lots of cardio!

The ABS DIET BOOK is a great book too! Very simply written and It will guide you every step of the way to lean tight abs!

Yep, cardio. You'll see results a a lot quicker playing a bit of football everyday than you will by doing crunches. This is because, in order to see the six pack you may already have, you first need to lose the fat around your abdominal area. The most effective way to do this is through a continuous cardio-vascular workout.
