Do you think that there is a social bias if someone is fit (ie sixpack) vs someo!


Question: Thats actually a good question, I never thought of it that way. In my opinion it really doesn't matter. For example: A guy with a six pac might not have real functional strength (look at bodybuilders) and a guy who is heavier can be in awesome condition and you may not even realize it. Six pacs look awesome no question but if they're not strong then who gives a ****. Looks can be decieving. Look at some mma fighters, some look big and heavy but yet they are some of the most conditioned athletes on earth. Careful what you look at. I would bet you 100-1 that most guys with a six pac either can't hold a handstand or fall back into a bridge.

I'm not sure what you mean by social bias. I mean, females tend to go for guys that are more fit and have a six pack, versus guys that are heavier, with not as "hot" of a body. Honestly though, it does seem that society as a whole "likes" people that are better looking and more fit as opposed to the other 80% of the population.
