Spill your knowledge on weight loss...10 lbs..?!

Question: I'd like to drop 10 lbs before April. Not only do I want to lose the weight, but I want to tone and tighten as well. I am 5''4 and 128 lbs. I know what foods to eat and what foods to stay away from, so no need for advice in that department. But, I'd like some easy work-out tips for toning and tightening that I won't have to do for hours a day. Can you give me some good cardio and toning tips that will guarantee weight loss? Also, how many times a day should I perform routines? A full-out description or link would be helpful. I'm looking for routines targeted toward the stomach, arms and thigh area! Thanks xo

Turbo Jam & Hip Hop Abs are really fun and your get a great workout!

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

FORGET LOSING WEIGHT.
No way. You'd be underweight if I helped you do this!

My secret is very easy. What i do is dont eat untill i get really hungry.. since your really hungry your stomache has shrunk. therefore you cant eat much. i have lost weight.. i also play basketball and we run in practice so that might be helping to.. just stay active

I concur on the Turbo Jam-- it's a kickboxing workout, so you get high cardio & muscle toning at the same time. What I really like about Turbo Jam vs the kickboxing workout I used to do (Denise Austin's) is that Turbo Jam is actually much lower impact, but your heart rate will still be through the roof the whole time. Also, in order to SEE the muscles you're building, you have to take fat off. I do the Turbo Jam 4 times a wk. But that will turn into 3 so that when the weather's nice again I can walk the other 2 days. I also do pilates twice a week, kundalini yoga 2-3 times a week. I do about 1 hr 5 days a week.

When I lost weight, I watched what I ate, did small, more frequent meals, & ran for 15 minutes, then did kickboxing everyday... but then, I was in my early 20s, & my knees & hips aren't so grateful. So do the lower-impact cardio.
