Can you see results from workouts in a week?!


Question: I'm on a no-lowfat diet,counting calories. Workout 2x a day for 1hr cardio and toning. I dont know maybe its all in my head lol

Initially you'll probably be losing water so it would look like you'd lost weight early on even if you hadn't really. I doubt you could have actually lost much weight in one week but you could certainly have lost a lot of retained water so could certainly appear slimmer. Careful you don't over exercise though, coz it's so easy to get exhausted and fall spectacularly off the waggon and pile weight back on. I would recommend only working out once in a day 5 days a week to allow time for your body to recover or you could totally crash and not be able to work out for ages. Also, a no-fat or very low fat diet isn't good, your body needs some fat to function properly and fight disease. Also, female sex hormones are produced in fat cells so the reproductive system can go funny if you don't eat enough fat. Just keep calorie counting and don't eat too much fat. The only fat to avoid is saturated or hydrogenated fat, the other stuff is OK in moderation. Good luck with it.

Results are slow, so probably not much. Can you notice minute changes if you are very vigilant? Probably. A great way to tell is to take a beginning picture, and take another picture every month, and compare them, to see if there are any results. This is what I did / am still doing.
