Injured my forearm doing weights?!


Question: I've injured my forearm doing barbell curls, I probaly pushed it a little bit in terms of weight (about 50kg) Yes I am weak. I've waited a couple of days and tryed to do some more curls only to experence pain in the same aera. Can somebody tell me how to help the healing process along? And how long I should wait before attempting to work out again?

Everyone starts on small weights.

You've probably learnt this by now, but don't lift if it's too heavy. You should aim to do 10-12 reps. 15 and the weight is too light, 6 and it's too heavy.

Give your arms a rest and try again in a week at a lower weight. Not much else you can do. Be glad the injury isn't worse.
