What kind of workout will give me a more leaner look?!


Question: I am 40 years old and in pretty good shape, I work out at my gym 4 days a week. I am 5'3" and 120 lbs. I don't want to lose weight, I have very good muscle tone, especially in my arms, I am trying to get a leaner look and am not sure how. Anyone achieve this look and how?

Certain exercises will plump up your muscle fibers, like weight lifting or stair climbing. Others will length the muscle fibers and make you look long and lean. Swimming will do this and is an excellent cardiovascular exercise. Pilate's and yoga are good at lengthening too.

llifting feally heavy weights in the gym and then running or jogging home

do the same work out you are doing now just do it longer each day and maybe do it 5-6 times a week that will show the best emprovments.

Walking and riding a bike is the best for someone just starting out.Swim if you have a pool.It works everything and is fun.

running should work. Also try lifts that stretch muscles such as the straight leg dead lift
