Will this help me lose a lot of weight?!


Question: For a month I have been eating one bowl of cereal for breakfast and lunch. (Wheetees, chereos, and total rasion bran)

I drink only water with a packet of suger free zero calorie flavoring.

For supper I may eat a plate of spagitti, chicken breast sandwitch, turkeyburger, etc. I eat apples, oranges, and other calorie negitive food when I can.

I try to stay under 1000 calories a day.

When I can I ride a bicycle and try to excersize.

And I've lost some but it has been slow.

Any ideas on what to include or modify?

Make sure your cereal is low in sugar and high in protein. Watch your salt in take because that will cause water retention.
You may be on track though. You really shouldn't lose more than a pound or two a week. I've heard that protein and omega boost your metabolism.

i dont think your consuming enough calories and your body is holding on the ones it has left. you have to eat right to lose weight. eating little doesnt work the way you would think

Eat your vitamins, and dont have cereal for lunch. For dinner, always have a meat, vegetable, and starch.

instead of just cutting back on calories, eat well (like a 1500 calorie diet) and exercise alot more. running is very effective.

WALKING HELPS ALOT!
THE KIND OF FOODS YOU EAT DEPEND ON YOUR MATABOLISM, NO MATTER WAT YOU EAT, YOU MAY STILL END UP GAINING WEIGHT.
JUST EXCERCISE ALOT, ITS THE BEST OPTION! INSTEAD OF DRIVING TO THE NEAREST STORE, WALK THERE INSTEAD. I HONESTLY DONT EAT AS MUCH AS THAT A DAY, NO MATTER HOW HEALTHY IT IS, I HAVE AT LEAST 2 MEALS A DAY, AND MAYBE 1 SNACK!

you should try lean cuisine!!!

Try eating 6 small and healthy meals a day, at the moment your body thinks it is starving and is trying to hold onto any weight it can, you need to feed your body often with healthy food, this speeds up your metabolism.

If you're feeling hungry throughout the day you should switch to small more frequent meals. Don't eat a ton of pasta, like spaghetti. It's good to stick to lean meats. And you should eat more vegetables and whole grains - those are the things you can fill up on. Vary your exercise, and weight train some also.

pasta has a lot of calories, so you probably want to avoid that. watch your condiments, that's often where calories are hiding. make sure you are drinking a TON of water. The only other thing, is to up the exercise, or make it more intense.

Dont go over the top, you dont want to push it. If you feel hungary between meals, dont snack, just add a little more food at you three main meals to get by. If you find your progress slow, I think you should try Weight Watchers, because it really works!

well firstly i would like to congratgulate you . you sound as though your doing well my only concern is that at lunch you should snak on pieces of fruits or have a salad sandwhich sometimes have ceral this will change your diet slightly. okay for exercise you should consider doing 100 sit ups a day and the plank for 5 mins (1 min x 5)
try running ort swimming as this helps tone the body as well as losing weight keep it up

You shouldn't cut down on the food this quickly. You need to eat a few calories less everyday otherwise signals are sent to the brain that the body is being literally starved so it holds onto as many calories as it can and stores them. This is probably why the process is so slow. try staying off of things like white bread, potatoes, snacks etc and you should be fine,.

I think you need to up your exercise. You have to burn more calories than you consume. I am kind of reading between the lines here that exercise is sort of a sometimes thing?

Ok, spagitti are spaghetti (italian pasta) I presume??? what kind of sauce do you add to your pasta? How many plates do you eat? I think that in order to lose weight, you have to only cook 25 spaghetti and add a little bit of sauce... So, if I were you, I'd skip pasta ;-)

Chicken breast sandwich... try to eat chicken breast with veggies and without bread.

The same goes for turkeyburger which is, I also presume turkey in a bread... That is no weight loss food!

Here is a menu example:

Breakfast
Tea or Coffee without sugar
4 tablespoons corn flakes with skimmed milk
1 apricot juice
1 boiled egg
1 piece of cheese (Gouda)

Lunch

130 g cucumber 130g, lemoned yoghurt sauce 120g fish stick
100g grated, cooked and lemoned apple
60g fresh fig

Collation

100g sweetened compote

Dinner

100g de grated celery
90g steamed salmon
80g mashed potatoes
40g cherries pie
