Post Workout Nutrition?!
Question: Is it good to drink fruit juice immediatly after a work out? I know the importants of protein, but simple carbs? I heard that it was because of the glucose levels needing to be restored. What is an ideal carb to eat after a workout? And what amount?
Thank you. Easy 10 points for the best answer.

your diet, rest and stretching are vital in recovery. Increase things like potassium (bananas), vitamins A and B (all of them can't hurt) (fruits and vegetables along with tuna/salmon), Fatty Acids ie omegas (tuna/salmon/nuts), protein (chicken and nuts). these will help your muscles AND your nervous system recover asap.
Rest speeds the above process up massively as deep sleep is where you get most recovery done.
stretching helps increase blood flow which gets the above nutrients into your muscles/nervous system.
Your 'window of opportunity' after a workout is 40 mins. So in this time you should consume a Protein powder mixed with water.
Carbs should be consumed before your workout, not right before, but about an hour before you start. This can include a small bowl of porridge (again with water), a small sweet potato (baked), some rice cakes etc...
