Questions about the Whey Protein and Glutamine I'am going to begin taking?!


Question: Ok so I am now taking Whey Proten and Glutamine to help me work and I have a few questions....How much will this improve me results in strength and muscle size along with my two hour workout and I was also wondering is it also safe to work out everday now once i begin taking this stuff?

You should always have at least one day for your body to rest. Otherwise you will just overtrain and you will sustain an injury.
Glutamine helps your body recover faster from muscle breakdown aka training. I take 20 g right after I train. I also take 60 g Whey protein with the Glutamine no more than 30 minutes after I train. Obviously it is with water in a shake. If you are taking Glutamine at any other time I'd say you are just wasting it.
This really wont add any more results unless you are also eating the correct foods to go along with it. 6-8 small meals a day with at least 1.5 g of protein to your bodyweight. If you eat properly and get the protein you need for growth you will grow and recover quicker.
However, if the Whey is all the protein you get all day than it is just being wasted. You have to eat good foods along the way to grow. Ask anyone who is a bodybuilder and they will tell you that food is probably 60-70% of what will make you grow.I hope this will help. GOOD LUCK, TRAIN HARD!

it will build your muscles faster. You will yield more results quicker. well worth it. You can work out every day but split it up
like chest one day back the next legs after that, take a break then do shoulders and the next day do arms and take another break, rinse and repeat.

Good stuff. But do not work out everyday. Have rest days. You need time to recover. That's what's good about the whey protein though, it helps you recover much quicker. You could work out everyday, but work other muscles in the body.

It not only helps to build muscle faster but it also repairs them much quicker. While you can work out every day I would not recommend working the same muscles every day. One days rest in between would sitll be helpful.
