Water/tea fasting?!


Question: I weight somewhere between 150-160 and would like to get down to at least 140. I was wondering how many days I would have to water fast to get to that. Don't bother telling me it's not good for me, because I'm desperate and willing to do it. I exercise a little every day but... it just doesn't seem to help. I eat healthy enough, with a snack once in a while. I know fasting gets rid of muscle, too, but I plan to do some lifting every day to try and fight against that as well as I can. The main beverages I drink are water (I try for 60-80 fl. oz. a day), and decaffienated tea. I usually have an 8-oz. bottle of iced tea for bed, so I can just grab it if I'm thirsty and wake up in the middle of the night.
Anyone know how many days I would have to water fast to get to at least 140?

You may end up in the hospital before you hit 140.
I have no idea how long ,but fasting is not the answer, look into some other desperate measures.You are losing all
your nutrition to lose a pound or two.This in the long run
will not work.It sounds like torture.Try the Mayo Clinic Diet,
but you must stick to it completely.It's a good one for the amount you desire to lose .Good Luck...I know how u feel.

ten days but the first few days you lose water weight so it'll be more than 10 pounds after. you need 3500 calories a day. 3500 cal = 1lb. so if you fast for ten days you lose 10 pounds. plus the time after the fast because you cant just go straight back to you eating habits thats what's BAD. it takes time to eat normally again. google it.
