Is it ok to find comfort in food if you don't gain weight?!

Question: Well, I think comfort eating to an extent is natural, most people take pleasure in eating. However, if every time you feel sad you grab a spoon and down a pint of Ben and Jerry's, then it's possible it might catch up with you one day. Everything in moderation is a good rule so as long as you don't take it too far then you're probably just normal.

eating should be an enjoyable experience. if you don't like the food , then don't eat it. please don't assign morality to food. it's just a bodily function.

I agree with Jeremy C. but I am like you and don't gain weight. So don't feel guilty for eating food for comfort BUT you also have to make sure that you're healthy, you can be very thin but still have hidden health problems associated with a poor diet. Cholesterol is just one of the problems. It's often called being "skinny fat"

It's a very bad habit to get into, and depending on your age you may at some point start gaining weight from it.

no it's not healthy and it will catch up to you
