Good Workout?!


Question: We are getting a bowflex type machine soon, but in the mean time I have been doing every day: 500 good crunces, 100 push-ups, and 40 minutes on the elliptical switching off difficulty levels (4.45 miles)

That's a good work out... but doing the same thing day after day will not give you the results you want.. You need to incorporate a variety of different exercises... If you do the same thing day in and day out, your body/muscles will get used to that and won't need to work as hard to maintain that routine...

Wow that is amazing, you must be in fantastic shape. Let us know what you think of the bowflex. I had a friend who had one and didn't like it at all.

WHOA!! that's a lot! i can barely do 20 push ups and run 2 miles! Try turbo jam!!

Until you get your bowflex this is a really good workout, but try to do it a little differently everyday, there are tons of different variations of push-ups and crunches you can do, so it will keep your workout changing and your muscles wont get use to it
