Start with walking. In a park, on a trail, in your neighborhood ,etc.

Go swimming, its a really good workout. Dont worry about being in public with just a swimmer on cause nobody is bothered they are there to get fit and in shape just like you.

Don't worry...Weight loss, in the context of medicine or health or physical fitness, is a reduction of the total body weight, due to a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose tissue and/or lean mass, namely bone mineral deposits, muscle, tendon and other connective tissue.

Try getting some dvd's to workout at home. You can get them at wal-mart at a reasonable price. Then you can workout everyday. Or if you have cable then check out exercise tv on demand...it's free and they have lots of good workouts. Good luck!

Jog up your street or in your neighborhood! try out for sports! dance! cheer!
I am doing ballet, theatre, cheer and track! its so much fun and keeps me in shape!

Jogging, biking, jump-rope, push-ups, sit-ups, lunges, tricep dips, etc. There can be many things to do to keep active even if you can't make it to a gym.
